With reference to your Despatch No.11 of the 9th January, 1902, I have the honour to inform you that a tender for $14,246.16 from a Chinese Contractor has been accepted in connection with the alteration and enlargement of the Government Offices. This is within the estimate furnished by the Director of Public Works of which I informed you in my Despatch No.486 of the 26th November, 1901.
